Alum Assumes Command of Navy Strike Fighter Squadron

Congratulations to Commander Daniel Cochran on assuming command of the Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 27 on 13 July 2016. Cmdr Cochran earned an M.S. in Aeronautical Engineering in 2007 at AFIT completing the program as a distinguished graduate - an honor bestowed by the AFIT Chancellor to those students who have excelled in the educational objectives of the graduate school, representing no more than 10% of the graduating class.
