The feature article titled “Space Separatism: Degrees of Differentiation” is by AFIT alumni Capt Stover (M.S. Logistics and Supply Chain Mgt, 2014) and Dr. Alan Johnson (M.S. Systems Mgt, 1989)
The article titled “A Global Space Control Strategy” is by AFIT civilian alum Dr. B.T. Cesul (PhD Astronautical Engineering, 2012)
The second place winner of the Schriever Essay is AFIT alum Lt Col Kris Barcomb (Master of Cyber warfare, 2011, Distinguished Graduate) with an essay titled "Space Sustainment: A New Approach for America in Space"
The third place winner of the Schriever Essay is AFIT alum Capt Bryan Bell (M.S. Space Systems, 2010) with an essay titled "Space Resilience and the Contested, Degraded, and Operationally Limited Environment: The Gaps in Tactical Space Operations"
