USAF Capt. David Dawson mentors 8th grade students at Meadowdale Middle School in Dayton, Ohio. Capt. Dawson is one of many Airmen from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base volunteering his time to tutor students, in an ongoing program called Airmen Acting.
Airmen Acting is an organization established in January 2010 by Senior Master Sgt. Dellaina Grundy, command supply systems analyst in Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command's Directorate of Logistics. The program partners volunteers from the base with students at Dayton's Meadowdale PreK-8 School.
