Cyber students showing their appreciation by supporting local charity
Posted Friday, November 12, 2010

Giving is receiving is a phrase that is mostly shared during the holiday season. However, these three words also illustrate the hard work and dedication put forth by both instructors and students during 2 weeks of intense cyber professional continuing education (PCE) training.  The Center for Cyberspace Research (CCR) is proud to announce that the first graduates of Cyber 300 – Class 11-A, donated $500 to The Fisher Nightingale Houses Inc. in honor of the inaugural class instructors, Lt Col Kevin Wood and Major Melinda Moreau.  The students presented their donation to the instructors on October 29th, 2010 as a final farewell and thank you.

The Fisher Nightingale Houses Inc., is a private non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. Their mission is to raise funds to support compassionate care lodging for patients and their families receiving critical medical treatment at the Wright-Patterson Medical Center.  For more information about The Fisher Nightingale Houses Inc. organization, please visit www.fnhi.org .
