Four AFIT students win Dayton-Cincinnati Aerospace Sciences Symposium awards

DCASS winnersFour Air Force Institute of Technology students received awards from the Dayton-Cincinnati Aerospace Sciences Symposium at a banquet on 22 May. Capt. Terry Hankins, a March 2008 graduate of AFIT’s Graduate School of Engineering and Management, received the DCASS Art-in-the-Sciences Award for “You Don’t Have to Be Cool to Smile.” First Lt. John Hansen, Capt. William Strain—both March 2008 graduates—and Maj. Doug Wickert, a 2009 PhD student, received DCASS Best Technical Presentation Awards in the categories of Aircraft and Flow Control, Propulsion, and Structures, respectively.
