Brig. Gen. Thomas E. Kunkel (M.S. Strategic Leadership, 2006) has been appointed to the grade of major general. Kunkel is currently serving as the deputy director, Operations, Operations Team Five, National Joint Operations and Intelligence Center, J-3, Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, District of Columbia.
Brig. Gen. Adrian L. Spain (M.S. Systems Engineering, 2007) has been appointed to the grade of major general. Spain is currently serving as the director, plans, programs and analyses, Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe and U.S. Air Forces Africa, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
